Coming home from a rally downtown San Diego, I stood calmly alone on a corner with my protest sign, waiting for the bus. The effect on passerby was totally amazing! It seemed more effective than marching - because they had the chance to take in and digest one message at a time, and not be faced by a crowd of topics.
What if we all, individually, took a sign and took a street corner. One per corner. The entire city. We wouldn't be collecting illegally, we would be 100s of feet apart each... but blanketing the city.
No one would be able to go anywhere downtown without subtly being reminded: We're here to protect your future... we are all the 99%...
